You can cater to convention – Worry ‘bout the look

Avoid drawing attention – Do it by the book

Or admit you’re only inching toward an ocean in a brook

And what’s downstream may shock you – rock you ‘til you’re shook

When they tell you there’s a heaven – and say you’ll wanna go

Remind them heaven’s angels preferred the earth below

The facts can crack foundations – The truth can be a crook

So tell them to tread lightly – Show ‘em that you’re shook

What of justice?  What of evil? – Or angels in the dark?
