If my message is self-serving, please don’t be deceived

It’s OK if you’re observing to debunk a lie believed

If I’ve half the truth at twice the price, call me into question

As long as if I’m proved of Christ, you might call me Christian

If my pulpit is my idol (both are made of wood)

If I look into my Bible just to find my livelihood

If I claim my own authority, call it vain ambition

But if Jesus has the heart of me, you should call me Christian

Call me Christian – call me Christian

I’m on a mission – so call me Christian

Call me Christian – call me Christian

Made my decision – so call me Christian

If I speak in tongues of angels, and tell of what’s to come

If I’m seeing all the angles and moving mountains from

Here to there while loving no one, call me a magician

But if Christ has my devotion, you should call me Christian

By definition – you can call me Christian
