Dave LeMieux

Songwriter, Performer, Executive Director - More Than Music

Dave LeMieux – worship leader, recording artist, and award-winning songwriter – lives in Castle Pines, CO with his wife (Tina) and wife’s mother (Peggy). A Cum Laude graduate of Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA, Dave earned his Bachelor of Music with an emphasis in composition and production in 1993, and in Fall 2021 began pursuing a Master’s of Divinity from Denver Seminary.

He served as Worship Arts Pastor at Colorado Community Church in Denver and Aurora for 14 years before co-founding More Than Music, the nonprofit corporation behind the production of Blue Gospel Scripts. As its Executive Director, Dave has forged partnerships with the Mizel Museum, The Denver Foundation, Stanford University, the US State Department, and other organizations in order to expand the reach of Gospel music throughout Colorado, the United States, and four continents.

As a lyricist and scriptwriter, his love of words predates his teen years, thanks to countless epic Boggle games with his grandmother. Dave has written or co-written hundreds of songs, including the “Song of the Year” at Integrity Music’s 2007 songwriting competition and Songwriting U’s “Best Gospel Song” in 2021.

His most recent joy has been traveling to Israel to study and teach Biblical history while capturing footage for Blue Gospel Scripts.
