We invite you into a unique friendship in ancient Judah – the Prophet Isaiah and King Hezekiah, both of whom God powerfully used during days of darkness.
Ancient Assyria (now northern Iraq and SE Turkey) was a conquering force in Israel in the days of Isaiah and Hezekiah. The Assyrians threatened to conquer Jerusalem more than once, but King Hezekiah successfully resisted them – while also diverting a water source via a tunnel, which still exists, now as a tourist attraction in Jerusalem.
Discover how a king, humbling himself before God and heeding the words of a prophet/friend, saved his people from a potentially overwhelming threat.
